Statement regarding Josh Duggar:

by | Mar 9, 2016 | 22 comments

Josh has completed his residential rehabilitation program. We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program. It was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh. Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family. We look to God for help and guidance and place all of our trust in Him. We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead.

Your family is constantly on my mind and I prayerfully hope that healing and forgiveness will come easier now that the family is united once again. There’s not one person who can say truthfully that they have never made a few bad choices in their lives and with an open and forgiving heart, in time, this will be another one of those teaching moments not only for your family but for all of us. I’m so grateful that God is a forgiving God in my own life so I can go on my own day to day walk with Him. Thank you for your openness and letting us hope and pray with you and for you. Many, many blessings. Robin

I will continue to pray for this family as I am a believer that everything happens for a reason no matter if it’s good or bad. People need to really understand that even though you are Christians you are also humans and humans are not perfect. Your family does so much good for people and are always ready to pick out any negative they can find instead of the good. Why? I believe it’s because of there own issues. Anyway I will pray for you all and I honestly hope that in the years to come we will see all the Duggar’s back. I have never stopped watching and keeping up with the family. God Bless

Hey there! I watched the show tonight with such joy, I find it difficult to sleep. May our Father fill y’all with abundant grace and peace. I am glad to count you and yours as my family in Christ. Thanks for shining the Light of our Savior Jesus and for making the sacrifice of living in a fish bowl. This ol’ world needs to see grace and forgiveness and mercy and hope and how only the love that’s united in Jesus will stand through the storms of this life. I made a decision long ago when I was not given the choice but was treated indecently that I would forgive and I’ve never regretted it, instead I pray/prayed for those who mistreated me. It took many years but God has even healed me of the fear that for many years weighed on me. I am able to say with absolute confidence that He loves me zealously and jealously and He never lets me forget it! I can only imagine the many lives that can begin to choose to walk the path toward healing by encountering the love of Jesus as folks watch the program. Keep pointing to Jesus and never quit. Finally, I have been praying and will continue. Your Sis in Christ, Mary

I wish all of you, and Josh, the very best in the future. NO ONE is without fault, and we all make mistakes. We all must walk through difficult times in our lives, but when we put our trust in Him and have faith- we will make it through to the other side. Hang in there! All my best!

Every family has issues and things to work on. Your family happens to be in the spotlight. People have no right to judge others. Life happens, every day we make choices; some good others not so much. Obviously, hind sight is 20/20. We all have things to work on. May God give you and your family the courage, grace and will to carry on. Seeing your family deal with real issues is inspiring, Love isn’t easy and not always kind. Sometimes you just have to make up your mind. God Bless you all. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

Josh I feel that you were treated & judged very unfairly…. Everyone gets curious when we are young. We all make bad decisions. Its for God to judge, not us!! Unfortunately for you, someone wanted to hurt you & your family. Most likely jealousy…. Usually we don’t get our business plastered for the world to see then judge. Or we shouldn’t…. I’m sorry that happened to you..and your family…. True fan Xoxoxo

I feel I’ve failed my family and so alone in so many ways. My heart is breaking. You r all blessed to have each other. I’ve prayed and prayed don’t know what else to do. I’ve felt like I have to chose between my children and no mom should ever have to do that. Love new show. Will keep all of u in our prayers.

To the Duggar Family – May our Precious Lord continue to bless you and your family. Hold your heads up high and place your trust in our Lord to give you further guidance and understanding. I, too, am so glad that the girls are ‘counting on’. I’ve enjoyed your family’s journey as it has inspired me to be the best that I can. Prayers for each of you and especially for Josh, Anna, their children and to Jill, Derek, and Israel as they continue their ministry work in an unstable environment. God bless and keep you all.

Stay Strong. It is so easy to say that someone has been wrong, but no one is without mistakes. I feel for your family having to go through all it has. As someone who has walked down your path, I am aware of the feelings of hurt and betrayal you can feel. Forgiveness is hard, and does not come overnight, no matter how hard you pray, or how hard you want it to. Your family is truly an inspiration! Watching you forgive and move on has helped me more than I thought was possible.
